About
Hi. My name is Steve Smith. I'm a Porsche Nut. A Porschephile. A car guy. Many names can describe guys like me.
I bought my first Porsche while living in Cupertino, California in the early 1990s. It was pretty much love at first sight but it would be fitting to give some background.
For me, there's always been something about old cars. I've always been around cars, either professionally or as an enthusiast. Maybe it started with my first car in high school which was a 66 Dodge Charger. Maybe it was all the different Z-cars I had while working my way through college at a shop that specialized in Z-cars. Ultimately it doesn't matter. All I know is that I'll always have an old car in the garage and there's a 110% chance it's going to be a Porsche.
The stuff you'll see on my webpage is all made out of my desire to try and maintain the history of my cars. I have 2 67s. One's a 912 converted to a 911 and one's a pure 912. They each have their own story. I hope that the items here will help you maintain yours as well. You may or may not know the story of your car but it has one.
I have tried to duplicate what the factory used or did from 50 plus years ago. I hope you enjoy what you see here and I hope it keeps your car going for the next 50 plus years. Thanks for checking out the webpage.
